Les Misérables by Victor Hugo ★★★★★

Absolutely one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read. Convicting! Moving! Captivating! Beautiful!

Much is to be gained as a man from this story. A little orphan girl looks to a broken, lost, and desolate man to be a protector and fatherly figure. He finds a sense of purpose and ultimately redemption in it as the story follows their lives through many adventures. Not to be missed.

You don’t have to read the full 1500 page novel. This 300 page abridged version by Jim Reimann is just as worth it.

Gentle: How Women Can Save the World

A vision of the ancient power and glory that once existed in the feminine. 330 pages.
