I.       God searches the hearts of men from eternity to know them.[1] Being in, through, and outside of time, his foreknowledge encompasses our lives from beginning to end,[2] and therefore has purposed all things, past, present, and future, from the foundation of the world.[3]

II.      God sees from eternity what the world has done, past, present, and future; from beginning to end[4] and has designed plans in eternity in accordance with his wisdom and foreknowledge.[5] Thus, he foreknows intimately those who are his from the foundation of the earth.[6] His plans extend from special attention to those individuals who love him[7] to the times and boundaries of entire nations.[8]
